I recently tried the Kouign Amann at B Patisserie, and it was amazing! It's a flaky pastry with a light sugary crust. I think everyone should try it at least once in their lifetime.

Popular bakery with a line out the door, not a super long wait, they were sold out of some things by the time I arrived (10:30am). review is based on the pan suisse - it was good, not great. filling was nice, but the pastry itself was not quite there for me. I'd go back to try more though

I recently ordered a birthday cake by phone. They need at least 72hrs advance notice. You can email them to see what flavors they will have available. At the time they offered the following: Vanilla Cassis Chocolate Caramel toffee mousse Classic Chocolate mousse Chocolate Earl Grey Matcha Lemon opera Orange Passionfruit Cheesecake I opted for a 6" matcha lemon opera cake to feed 10 people. Which they say feeds 6-8 people. We still had 1/2 cake left over as our friends were not big on sweets and we had a big dinner earlier. The cake was beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't taste any lemon in it and thought that it needs it to cut through the richness. Nonetheless the matcha flavor is predominantly present and would order a different birthday cake next time.

Love B Patisserie's pastries! If you eat in-house, you can ask them to warm up your croissants for an extra crispy, delicious experience. The Chocolate Banana Almond Croissant is one of our favorites to get. Wonderful flavors - the banana helps temper down the rich sweetness of the almond and chocolate. The exterior sweet crust is crunchy, while the inside still has flaky layers and a rich moist filling. The kouign Amman and pain suisse are also very good. Latte was a good accompaniment to the sweet pastries. Matcha tiramisu had good matcha flavor, but felt too pricey for the slice. I'd get more bread/pastries instead next time. Great service from the staff member who told us it was only his second day working there! There are a bunch of tables to sit and enjoy your food at, though you might have to wait a bit if it's busy. They clean off the tables pretty quickly.

This bakery is crowded! Usually, the tables are all full and a line of people going out the door. But, if you are willing to brave through the challenges of finding a parking spot on the street and waiting in line, you will definitely be surprised at this elegant French bakery. A large display case of pastries, cookies, cakes, tarts, etc. Kouign Amann - deliciously flakey and light. They have nature and seasonal flavors. Chocolate Banana Almond Croissant: Incredibly flavorful and wonderful. Though, it's not your usual flakey layered croissant. The inside is moist. Chocolate Chip Cookie - a nice crisp cookie with chocolate ribbons throughout. Mmmm... The service is nice and friendly, and the line moves fairly quickly.

C'est si bon! [San Francisco CA] We stopped by the cafe/bakery before heading back to Sac. Finding parking was challenging as we made a full circle around the block and could not find one. Street parking only. We were lucky to score one, otherwise, we would've given up and left. I came here with no expectations and when I walked in... I was surprised because I was completely wrong. First of all, it was a full house on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon in San Francisco. Secondly, ooh la la! with a menu composed of modern French style pastries along with American flavors and local influences we couldn't resist buying a slice of cake (or a pastry)! I purchased a Butter Croissant, French Tart Flan, and Butter Mochi. My friend had the Black Sesame Tiramisu and some pastries to go. It was a tight squeeze but we found seats in the busy cafe. Ambiance is noisy so you'll need to pay attention when they call your name to pick up your beverage at the counter. This popular French bakery is located in the Lower Pacific Heights in San Francisco. Bon appétit! Instagram: @bpatisserie Review #3385

This might have to be my new favorite place in the city. We recently visited and luckily the line wasn't too bad. They have plenty of selection to choose from, and we couldn't help ourselves to one. We ordered their infamous banana chocolate croissant, sesame kough amann, flan, coffee cake, and egg salad sandwich. All were so delicious, but the chocolate banana croissant stood out to us so much that we went back in line to order more. The flaky texture was perfect. There are real banana chunks, which was so delightful. We can't wait to go back and order more! It was that delicious.
